About Me

Candice Frayle, who is an experienced dog trainer, dog owner and life long dog lover, founded Happy Dog. Her training approach to teaching dogs is based on the loving relationship you have with your dog and her ability to motivate any dog to want to please. The unique curriculum she has adopted in her classes promotes a positive, fun and motivationally based methodology. Along with positive reinforcement, Candice has adopted an X-Factor into her Program. This X-Factor is the key to reliability and longevity in the training methods she applies.

Experience

Candice has 12 years experience in dog behavior and training. She has over 10 years of hobby competition with American Bulldogs. Her dogs have titled in: obedience, protection, and therapy dog work. Her dogs have also obtained major points in the conformation ring. She has helped rehabilitate & train numerous rescue dogs, along with her Rescue partner Las Vegas Wrinkle Rescue. In addition to her own experience as pet owner, breeder, rescuer, professional handler and trainer she has taken courses to increase her knowledge and expertise. From her diverse experience and skills she has developed a one of a kind method of training that is customized to your dog and you.

·American Kennel Club and Canine Good Citizen Certification (AKC/CGC)- 2003

·K9 Nose Work Instructor Certification (CNWI) - 2009

·Cofounder of Las Vegas Wrinkle Rescue (2003)

Assisted (link to Discovery.com)Discovery’s Animal Planet and Houston SPCA with mass rescue of American Bulldog puppy mill.

·Active in competition sport and obedience work (2002-2009)

·Apprenticed and Graduated from master trainer Rich Domico at Sin City K9 Training Program (2008)

·Currently assisting the University of Pennsylvania with genetic research of Ichthyosis in American Bulldogs (Magi Casal, PhD of Medical Genetics)

·Member of National Working Dog Association (2008)

·Member of the Working American Bulldog Association (2002)

·Protection Sports Association (PSA) (2006)
