I came to Rob and Tineisha with my dog who had such bad separation anxiety, he was attacking every single time we tried to leave the house. Every day, he'd show aggression and lots of reactivity even as we prepared to leave. I instantly felt at ease when dropping my dog off and am amazed at the level of expertise, thought, problem-solving and ongoing support we've been shown from HD Dog Training. My dog came back from training completely renewed, regulated, flexible and no longer requiring anxiety meds he'd been prescribed. He had a totally new relationship with us, his crate and our home. After adopting our first puppy this fall, we found Rob through a Google search and within a week, he set up a virtual consultation to meet us and our dog Daisy. We got the 8 week training package. Rob and Tineisha made scheduling training sessions super easy and Rob tailored everything to Daisy‘s age and temperament.

We also took advantage of their boarding service and left Daisy with them while traveling over the holidays. They took great care of her and even offered pickup and dropoff!

HD Dog Training changed our lives!!! We got Moody as a rescue pup when he was 2 years old. For the last 4 years, he has demonstrated severe separation anxiety to the extent that we could hardly leave the house without him trying to block the door or nip at us. Finding sitters who were willing to watch Moody entailed making sure the sitter was comfortable to never leave Moody by himself for their own safety. When we found Rob, we had all but given up hope that Moody (now 6 years old) could change. Moody was originally signed up for the 4-week board and train program and on week 3 it became clear to Rob that Moody would need an additional 2 weeks. Rob kept Moody for 2 extra weeks--free of charge--to ensure that Moody would be sufficiently trained. Moody came back to us completely transformed! He responds dutifully to commands like "heel," "come," "touch," "sit," and a number of others! Most importantly, he now responds every time when we say "CRATE!!!" This has absolutely changed our lives and has made our relationship with Moody a much closer and more regulated one because there is so much more trust and less conflict between us now. We will be forever grateful to HD Dog Training for returning Moody to us as a happier, more regulated dog. When we went to pick Moody up, Rob made sure we were well-trained on how to continue Moody's training at home and we are looking forward to 4 follow-up sessions to continue to shape our training skills. We got our puppy Nala when she was about 8 weeks old. By the time she was 9 months she was a very reactive dog that frightened easily and showed some aggression. We felt hopeless and needed more help than just the basic training we had done ourselves with her. HD Dog training was recommended to us so we decided to check them out. We met Rob and right away we knew he could help us. His passion and dedication for dog training gave us hope. After her board and train with Rob we could see a huge difference. Brought my rottweiler puppy to Rob for a board and train. She was showing signs of fear and aggression, and needed some more training. After 1 month we got her back and she was a changed dog. Our girl, Ledi, found us back in June. My husband and I both grew up around dogs that were not trained and we wanted to be sure that Ledi got the support she needed.

Within a couple weeks of getting her, Ledi had already started having accidents (often on purpose), biting, jumping, and we really didn't know how to handle the behaviors in a consistent and loving way.

With Rob's help, Ledi is a completely different dog. She grasped her training super fast! We can do off leash walks, let her go in the backyard without any fear of her getting into trouble. Without having really worked on it directly, the spite poop/pee accidents have stopped. It's nice not having to buy all those puppy pads!

HD Dog Training is superb. We rescued our husky, Ledi, in June. She had a sweet heart, but was unruly, and had a tendency to jump and nip. She would bolt from us when we opened our front door and we were terrified of her running away or getting hit by a car. She was literally driving us crazy and really frustrating my wife and I. Within a few weeks of training with Rob, she was a completely different dog. Her jumping and nipping became almost non-existent, and now I can call her from 100 yards away and she bolts to me as quickly as possible. She is now beloved by my family and friends and is good around kids and babies. Believe me, whatever your dog is doing, it's not worth all the repercussions - the anger you feel toward your dog, the arguments with other members of your family, the ruined moments created by a dog who is acting out. Ledi is now an adored member of our family and when we don't bring her to events, people are disappointed! Thank you Rob for helping us create a happy and loving relationship with our dog! Our dog Chopper, a 3 year old Rotty/Chow Chow/Chihuahua mix rescue had an unknown, but clearly rough/traumatic life before we adopted him at 8 months. He is loving and well behaved with the core (4) family in the home; however, he slowly showed anxiety and reactiveness to strangers and vehicles. We had biting incidents and at a point that we didn't know what else to do - so, my husband invested in Chopper and Rob.

After (6) weeks - our reunion with Chopper went so well. You could tell he remembered and missed us (we all went to pick him up). We spent ample time with Rob learning basic training behaviors he worked on with Chopper and we were happy to bring him home.

Rob did a great job with positive reinforcement with Chopper - Chopper was previously trained with a more negative approach (shock collar - incessantly, for minor infractions) so we as his owners were trained to correct the negative more than reward the positive. Rob's approach has allowed us and Chopper to experience a much more relaxed and positive environment post his initial 6 weeks.

Chopper walks SO MUCH better, and we are able to have guests over with him crated and not barking incessantly. He is so much more responsive to our commands and more containable in those situations that he does get protective (i.e. strangers at the door). We used to take a very long time to get him crated, constantly shocking him higher and higher.....but now he gets minor corrections for a bark and he listens after only a couple "crate" commands. Good Boy Chopper!!

I'm personally so thrilled with the difference. Learning the techniques from Rob allows me to be a better dog mom to Chopper. It's going to be continued work, he's not a "new" dog - he's still Chopper, but he's learning and we're learning and we are all much happier with the results.

When Rob came to our home to visit and do an in-home training, it went exceptionally well. And Chopper remembered him and loved him up. Rob is the first "Stranger" that we've had in the house that Chopper was safe around. It was awesome to see the possibilities!
